Introduction to India by exploring Delhi, Agra and Jaipur

This is an ideal way to explore India: see three very contrasting cities within a relatively short distance of each other. You will have plenty of choice to vary your programme to suit your objectives.

Delhi is a city with everything, its history and culture evident as you become familiar with Lutyens' New Delhi and the Mughal traditions of Old Delhi.

Agra is three hours by train and over six by road. Remember that travel by road in India is often slow: fascinating but slow. But to see the Taj Mahal is such a privilege and on your way to Jaipur you can visit the perfectly preserved deserted town of Fatehpur Sikri.

Jaipur is the largest city in Rajasthan, the desert state. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City and is one of the most popular destinations for tourists. It's perfectly beautiful. This is where you will see elephants and camels working and where you can easily explore the diversity of culture and religion, enjoy the best food, and learn music and dance.
Accommodation is usually in international youth hostels or hotels but if you want to see further into the 'Real India' you can choose to stay in one of several homestays we have available.
