Working closely with Home and Hospitality our own Indian accommodation portal we will choose a family to look after you during some or all of your time in India and introduce you to the very best that their locality has to offer.

For school groups we choose homes which will accommodate one responsible adult, (a teacher or Acorn Guide), together with five students. Students will spend some time at a local school and the rest with their own school group following a programme of sightseeing and community activities. They then go 'home' each evening and learn about India from the inside. You can expect such warmth and hospitality in an Indian home whether it is palatial with staff or modest and simple. We make sure that all our homes are safe and clean.

For families we will choose a home which is suitably located and provide a car and driver so that you can explore the local area. Your host will also be able to show you the real India, take you to their club and show you where the best restaurants are and the best local shops. If you want they will take you to the markets and then teach you to cook the most amazing food.

Madhur Jaffry, the famous Indian cook has said, "The best curries are served not in restaurants but in homes. My advice is to wangle an invitation to an Indian home" ...but you don't need to wangle an invitation; you are invited.

So, if you are really keen to see the 'Real India' go and stay in an Indian home.
